The Father’s House

With a great heart for the community and a clear vision of how they want to reach more people in it, The Father’s House reached out to Visioneering to help bring their new 30,000 sq/ft Vacaville campus to life.

The Power of a Clear Vision

From a small group worshipping in a living room to thousands spread over three campuses, The Father’s House mission remained the same: Reach people who are far from God and help them encounter the reality of God.

The Opportunity

With a location situated in the heart of the city between two major freeways, The Father’s House had the opportunity to further their mission by creating an impactful space that would draw people into the church, and more importantly, closer to God.

The Vision

During our Basecamp process, The Father’s House leadership shared their idea of creating a passage—the passage we are all on through our journey with God. This led to the ambitious plan to mimic the parting of the Red Sea on the courtyard grounds, and the vision was set.

The Execution

The Visioneering team went to work capturing the concept of a wall of water being divided. Through both the placement and layout of the buildings, as well as the forms on the walls, the parting of the Red Sea came to life. To complete the experience, we placed a pillar in the central plaza designed to echo the Pillar of Light and Fire. Today, The Father’s House stands tall as a tool to reach their community, and a tangible space that brings their mission alive.

From the Cilent

“One thing we loved about working with Visioneering is they took us back to the original vision that God gave us…to see the bigger scope of what we could do with this acreage.” – Dave Patterson, Lead Pastor
