Basecamp Onboarding
A fruitful Basecamp begins with a little homework
Basecamp is the launching point for your project’s success. To ensure you get the most out of the experience, please complete the following 6 steps. Remember, the more work you put in—details, info, and assets provided—the more value we’re able to add to your Basecamp.
The first step is to help you and your team start to put your vision and needs into words. Please fill out the following questionnaire, adding as much detail and context as possible, and we’ll take it from there.
Along with the main questionnaire, we have several smaller surveys that are specific to your ministries. You may want to have team leads or subject matter experts in these areas fill out each one.
Note: When you fill out Step One, you will receive these links in an email to easily share with your team. As a backup, you can find always them here.
Download the attached spreadsheet and ask your best “I love spreadsheets!” guy to jump in. Don’t worry, it only looks intimidating. We’ve actually made it really straightforward. Enter your info and the document will do all the math for you.
If you have any building plans, 3D, site plans, or drawings, please upload them here. These are super helpful for our team as we develop designs for your space. Please also upload any style guides, logos, color palettes, and other brand elements so we can keep your designs on brand.
It’s up to you to decide which “stakeholders” should be in this room. This is a time of dreaming, collaborating, and asking questions of what could be, so do your best to choose a few open minds.
To help wordsmith your invitations, we’ve provided templates below. Feel free to tweak them however you like. Or go off script and create your own.
Heads up: About a week before the event, be on the lookout for your Basecamp Box. It will have all the supplies and instructions our team needs for the evening.
The right atmosphere is key to getting the most from your Basecamp experience.
Here are five tips to make sure your room is ready for the big day:
